The New Horizons Centre in Harlesden

Sufra NW London is moving their successful Community Wellbeing Service to New Horizons Centre in Harlesden.
There is a large blue banner with the words 'The community shop' written in white capital letters. There is a staff member on the left, and service users are queuing up on the right hand side behind the counter. The middle has multiple shelves of food and other products.

The Community Wellbeing Service is a partnership between Sufra NW London and Brent Council.

It follows from their successful pilot at Bridge Park Community Centre, providing support for families to access affordable meals, groceries and personal support. Their current users will still have access to the services they use, in addition to new ones.

In January 2025, the New Horizons Centre will introduce new services such as:

  • Family housing needs services
  • Employment services
  • Brent Hubs
  • An arts area
  • A community garden

"Sufra is delighted to be expanding the Community Wellbeing Service at the New Horizons Centre. We'll be providing a wide range of services to members - from grocery shopping and freshly cooked meals to welfare advice and holistic wellbeing support."

Rajesh Makwana BEM, Executive Director of Sufra NW London
