About this event
As part of our health equalities event series, we’re meeting with professionals who have challenged inequalities in their own disciplines and helped drive forward great care for patients. This month, we’re delighted to welcome Professor Jacqueline Dunkley-Bent OBE for a Q&A exploring her journey, and the work that she’s done firstly as NHS England’s Chief Midwifery Officer and now as the first Chief Midwife for the International Confederation of Midwives.
Throughout this time Jacqueline has advocated for better education of midwives, and acted as a pioneer for improving patient care. She is also the chair of and advisor to England’s Health and Race Observatory Maternity Advisory Group. We hope you will be able to join us via Zoom on 30 August to meet with Jacqueline, learn more about her story and ask any questions you may have.
