The Black Community Action Plan and Millan Market presents The Windrush 75 Celebrations, a community event showcasing the contributions and achievements of the Windrush generation. There will be guest speakers, a Windrush exhibition feature the Wyndrush Legacy Print Collection by Wildenature curator Karen Hamilton-Bannis former textiles teacher and now a print designer. There will be an African Caribbean Market an indoor shopping experience an eclectic array of artesian makers and ethically sourced products including Windrush Mermoribilas will be available. There will be live interviews with Let Talk host 'Blaze', plus Authors featuring books like the Black History Experience and live performances, food and drinks will be on sale plus music throughout the day. You can also meet Brent based community services.
