About this event
1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. And for black men, the risk is even higher, with 1 in 4 receiving a diagnosis at some point in their life. So if it’s such a common issue, why aren’t more of us talking about it?
By building a conversation about prostate cancer – including the risk factors, symptoms and what to do if you think you might be affected – more men can get diagnosed earlier. This is important, because when prostate cancer is detected in time, it has a high survival rate. In fact, 78% of those diagnosed will survive for ten years or more.
Join us on 24 May to hear from Consultant Urological Surgeon, Dr Rajesh Kavia, Prostate Cancer Survivor and Ambassador Errol McKellar MBE, and CEO of CVS Brent Kristine Wellington.
