Resident feedback on the NHS 10 Year plan
In response to the government's launch of the biggest ever conversation about the future of the NHS, Healthwatch Brent carried out local engagement.
Healthwatch Brent held an event on Monday 3rd February 2025 at Chalkhill Community Centre.
There were 15 residents from our community, and the conversation was rich, and the feedback was well considered and constructive.
The plan focuses on three key changes as follows:
Change 1 - Better use of technology
Change 2 - Moving more care from hospitals to communities (specifically), Virtual wards, Community diagnostic centres, Ambulance triage
Change 3 – Preventing sickness, not just treating it
