Developing Brent’s Health & Wellbeing Strategy: new report now available
03/03/2022
We have been working closely with Brent Council to make sure the new Joint Health & Wellbeing Strategy meets the needs of our community.
At the end of last year, the council published the draft strategy, and we reached out to a number of community groups to gather their views on whether the strategy is targeting the correct areas, and whether it meets the needs of people in Brent.
The overall response to the strategy was positive, and we found that there is a lot of support for many of the initiatives outlined. Some key areas that residents highlighted included projects designed to help people grow their own food, improve access to local parks and green spaces, and support community groups with better funding. However, the people we spoke to also said that they would like to see more detail about the specific schemes outlined within the strategy.
