Healthwatch Brent has launched a survey to understand experiences of Brent pharmacies, read this article to understand more and complete our survey to have your say.

About

Healthwatch Brent is inviting Brent residents to share their views on their local pharmacy. This research is vital to capture the quality of service provided by local pharmacies since the Pharmacy First scheme was launched on 31 January 2024. The work will align with the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) being carried out in Brent.

The consultation focuses on which services are most accessed and why, sharing feedback about the quality of services, in addition to identifying any gaps in current provision.
 
Our wider impact will be:
 
  • Make recommendations for how pharmacies can better meet the needs of Brent residents. 
  • Feed our findings to Healthwatch England as part of their wider review of primary care access. 
  • Present our findings at the Brent Health and Wellbeing Board.
  •  Share information/resources to support residents to know what pharmacy services are available/access these services – outcome could be a co-produced resource.
