Volunteering opportunity: communications
Join our team of volunteers and make a difference to local health and social care.
Do you want to help raise the profile of a local charity? Are you passionate about helping people speak up about their needs? Do you enjoy writing for a range of audiences and producing content for social media?
If so, we would love to hear from you! We’re looking for a volunteer who can spare 1-2 hours per week to support our communications. Tasks might include:
- Writing blogs and news articles
- Creating posts for social media and scheduling/sharing
- Creating simple graphics using Healthwatch England templates
- Interviewing other volunteers or members of the public about their experiences
We’ll also love to hear your ideas for how we can develop our communications even further! Applications from people with any level of experience are welcome. As a volunteer, you'll benefit from regular training and guidance from the Healthwatch Brent team.
