Still time to have your say about changes to local orthopaedic surgery
The NHS in North West London is asking patients and local people for your views on a proposal to create a centre of excellence for inpatient orthopaedic surgery at Central Middlesex Hospital, Park Royal.
Local people have until 20 January to share their views on the proposals, which aim to bring together most of the routine, inpatient orthopaedic surgery - primarily hip and knee replacements - completely separated from emergency care services.
You can find out more about the proposals here: nwl-acute-provider-collaborative.nhs.uk/key-projects/nwl-elective-orthopaedic-proposal The information includes details about why these changes have been suggested, as well as what it would mean for patients.
Once you have looked at the proposals, there are two ways to share you thoughts:
- Complete the confidential online survey, available here: nwl-acute-provider-collaborative.nhs.uk/key-projects/elective-orthopaedic-centre-consultation-survey
- Join the online public meeting on 12 January, 7-8.30pm. Details here: eventbrite.co.uk/e/online-public-meeting-2-improving-bone-joint-surgery-in-nw-london-tickets-444259270437

The public consultation runs from Wednesday 19 October 2022 to Friday 20 January 2023.
