Speaking to local people about your experiences with health and social care is a core part of what we do. The information you give us is used to help us set our priorities, and shared with key decision-makers in the NHS and local council. From April – September, we gathered views from 201 patients and service users, and since then we’ve continued to collect feedback every day.
Our volunteers have shown incredible enthusiasm and commitment in 2021, and we are looking forward to developing our volunteering program even further in the new year. On top of the unique skills and values that our volunteers bring to the role, we provide training and opportunities for development. Find out more about volunteering with Healthwatch Brent.
By championing the voice of local women, we have been giving them an opportunity to express their views about how services should be developed. This has been a collaborative piece of work, with other local Healthwatch and members of the London North West University Hospital NHS Trust. We look forward to developing the work further next year.
