CNWL's Brent Dementia services supports World Alzheimer’s Month 2023 campaign theme of ‘Never too early never too late’ by orgainising a dementia awareness day.
The event will take place on Thursday 21st Sept 2023 from 11 – 3pm at The Wembley Friendship Centre, 44 Wembley Park Drive, HA9 8HN.
On the day guests will explore how we can all adopt proactive risk reduction measures to delay, and potentially even prevent, the onset of dementia. This includes ongoing risk reduction strategies for individuals who have already received a diagnosis. It will also be an opportunity for residents to connect, network and form positive alliances with each other and service providers, like CNWL.
It is a free event and residents who use dementia support services, their families and carers are especially welcome.
