About this event
We’re all at risk of stroke – they can happen to anybody, at any time. This means that it’s crucial to understand the different risk factors, as well as how to respond if somebody you know is affected. It also means that we need to have a conversation about how communities and professionals can come together to boost research and improve public knowledge of what strokes are and the damage they can cause.
For April’s #HealthyCommunities lecture, we’ll be joined by two speakers from leading charity the Stroke Association. Chief Executive Juliet Bouverie and Associate Director for London Michelle Dalmacio will be bringing a wealth of expertise about how we can fight strokes – plus plenty of time for your questions and contribution.
